Can you remember how life was like before internet download managers got popular, when every attempt to download a large file must be preceded and followed through with serious intercession. I believe you probably know what it feels like to have seen your download get to 99% and for some reason the internet just disconnects and you are left with 99% of a useless file.

Similarly, is it possible that some of us are running around semi-downloads of our dreams thinking that is the full picture? Even now that we have internet download managers, there are files that except the download is complete, the file will not open. And even for those files that open like some mp3 files, you still won’t get the best out of them.

Ephesians 4:13 – This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God. We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection[NCV].

As Christians, God’s children, our life is like a download running through a download manager. We will constantly receive new data as long as we remain connected to Him. As the world keeps changing, so does our God continue to pour into us what is needed to live above the changes. But if we disconnect, we might be able to use some of our existing download, but it won’t deliver maximum result.

God’s desire is that no matter your field or profession, you function in that space like Jesus, and until you can confidently say that you attained that, then you need to remain connected to the download. God Bless You!
